Bert WhiteheadBert is the founder and CEO of Cambridge Connection, Inc. and founder of the ACA (Alliance of Cambridge Advisors). He is admitted to practice in the United States Tax Court, Federal District Court, and Michigan Courts. Bert is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors , The Financial Planning Association, and the National Association of Tax Practitioners, as well as a member of the State Bar of Michigan. Recognized as leading authority on financial planning, Bert is a regular speaker at industry conferences and is often quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Investment News, and many others. His publications include “Why Smart People Do Stupid Things with Money: Overcoming Financial Dysfunction”, a variety of booklets & accompanying CD on financial issues and Deduct It! Deduct It! Charitable Donation Tracker.  He also writes a periodic blog on topics of interest to clients.

Pamela S. Landy, JD, MBA, CFP® — Senior Advisor, Franklin Office

Pam LandyPamela is a Senior Advisor with Cambridge Connection who has practiced law and financial planning for over 25 years. She earned her J.D.-M.B.A. from Emory University after graduating with a degree in psychology from Vassar College. Her varied experience has included tax and financial planning for athletes, entrepreneurs and professionals and acquired the CSA® (Certified Senior Advisor) designation in 2006. Pam is a member of the ACA (Alliance of Cambridge Advisors), NATP (National Association of Tax Practitioners) and NAPFA (National Association of Personal Financial Advisors).

Christopher Zehnder, MBA, CFP®, EA — Senior Advisor, Florida Office

Chris ZehnderChris teams with Bert on our Florida & San Francisco California client bases. He holds an MBA, is a credentialed CFP®, and an EA (Enrolled Agent with the IRS). Chris is a member of the ACA (Alliance of Cambridge Advisors) and NATP (National Association of Tax Practitioners).

 

 

 

 

Associates

Melissa Scenga, MAcc, EA

Melissa is an Associate Paraplanner in Michigan. She earned her Master of Accounting Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Oakland University. She is a licensed Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Melissa is completing the Alliance of Cambridge Advisors training course and continues to work towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner.

Sean Ryan

Sean is an Associate Paraplanner in Michigan & Tucson, Arizona.  He earned a B.S. in Finance from Central Michigan University in May of 2009.  He is currently enrolled at Oakland University in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) courses.  He is also planning on starting to study for the Enrolled Agent designation. 

Karin Jergovich

Karin is an Associate Paraplanner in Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Oakland University in 1998.  Her educational background also includes completing the Cambridge Advisor’s Training Course in 2002, in addition to completing the Certified Financial Planning course from Oakland University in 2006.

Jane Miller, J.D.

Jane is an Associate Paraplanner and related support in Michigan. She is also an Educational Intern and student in the Academic Program at the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute studying the psychological issues baby boomers face as they enter their retirement years.

Samuel Chow

Sam is an Associate Paraplanner in Michigan.  He grew up in Hong Kong, lived in Toronto and studied Computer Science at the University of Windsor. He is currently pursuing his EA (Enrolled Agent) license and is registered for the ACA (Alliance of Cambridge Advisors) training course.

Kelly Lutz

Kelly is the client coordinator out of the Michigan office and also provides administrative support for Bert Whitehead. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Michigan State University in 2008.

Carrie El-Manaseer

Carrie functions virtually providing operations support services. She supports the operations of the company, including billing, compliance, and strategic coordination for Bert Whitehead. Carrie is a former U.S. Marine, has her real estate license and is currently working on her associate degree in business.

Carol Johnson, RPSM

Carol supports Cambridge from a virtual office handling the compliance and filings for the Securities & Exchange Commission and other operational assistance. She is a Registered Financial Paraplanner and is certified as an ISO 9000 Internal Auditor and documentation specialist.
